Using SplitEasy
SplitEasy helps you organize shared expenses with other people. You can create and join groups, record bills, assign shares, view balances, and record settlements. These terms apply to the iOS and Android apps and this website.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Do not share private group information or invitation codes outside the intended group without permission.
Your expenses and shared records
You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, currencies, people, shares, and settlement details you enter. Check records with your group, resolve disagreements directly, and correct mistakes when you find them. Only upload content that you have permission to use and share.
Recording payments
SplitEasy tracks expenses and payments; it does not hold funds, execute transfers, or verify that money has reached another person. Recording a settlement does not send money. Arrange and confirm actual payments separately with the recipient.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful content, unauthorized access, or attempts to disrupt other users or the service. Do not enter someone else’s sensitive information unless you have permission and it is needed for your shared records.
Availability and your records
Features may change and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own copies of records that matter to you. These terms do not promise uninterrupted availability or guarantee the accuracy of information entered by other people.
Privacy and leaving the service
Read the Privacy Policy for information about shared data and account deletion. Leaving a group or closing an account does not by itself settle a debt, erase another person’s records, or cancel an agreement between group members.
